This portion of the project is a short research paper (approximately 4-5 pages) that examines the progress being
made by each of your two countries and their remaining challenges regarding the contemporary
global issue that you are describing. Progress in the countries can include things like the current
laws, programs, policies, and interventions being implemented by that nation in regard to the topic
you chose. And the remaining challenges are the current problems that stand in the way of further
progress. You will also need to discuss what your findings suggest about the view of each nation
regarding the meaning of childhood.
