COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will explore experiential learning theory from practical and applied perspectives in outdoor recreation and leisure activities. Students will plan a series of outdoor adventure activities that nurture high-quality learning experiences for school-aged students. Specifically, students will explore both the hard and soft skills affiliated with outdoor education and the multiple domains of learning impacted by these tasks. Students will be required to participate in a field trip and apply theoretical and practical experience to create a series of adventure activities and an outdoor education experience for the school.
