Watch the entire film. After you have watched the film, I want you to think about our entire class, and answer the following questions
1. In your own words, please describe for me how you saw statistics used throughout the movie. Be as detailed as you can.
2. Thinking specifically about the Oakland A’s management, what VARIABLES were of particular interest to the GM? Please note that I am asking about variables, and not statistics [a statistic shows a property of a variable, so for example, if I am looking at exam scores, my variable is “exam score,” but the average (mean), or range or standard deviation are statistics] so think broadly about the variables that were of interest to the A’s management team.
