Respond to the each of the following three questions. Use of outside supporting evidence is encouraged. Each response must be at least 1,000 words, not counting citations. Include the word count at the end of each response.
1. Provide definitions of social capital and cultural capital. Then discuss how these may combine to influence responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2. Is the Black Lives Matter movement a participatory type of organization or a professional one? Define these types of movements and support your response with evidence.
3. Explain the culture of poverty thesis. How well does it explain the persistence of poverty in the United States? Are there limitations for this way of thinking? Are there any adverse consequences from this way of thinking? Use evidence and examples to support your claim.
I’ve attached the book file in where you should/ could get information from (the textbook for this course), but outside sources that you find yourself as well can be used and is highly encouraged so please feel welcomed to do this, just please use the book for general understanding and sense of ideas and reference it at least once.
