Your goal in this assignment will be to state a clear thesis about the ethics of some pop culture text. You are essentially articulating your response to something that touches that “ethical nerve” in you. What do YOU think about what the text did/portrayed? Remember, we define text in this class as anything you can read or interpret the meaning in. Your paper will offer clear, defined, appropriate support for your claim. You do NOT need to use outside sources (i.e. your argument can be based entirely on your ideas), however, if you do use outside materials you should document them properly. Your argument should be well organized, with an introduction and conclusion. Your paper should average between 3-4 pages in length.
